Bake & Go

Everyday freshness in motion with Bake & Go

Salalah Mills, one of Oman's most established food producers, had a vision. Leading a strategic revolution, Salalah Mills were undergoing big changes to create excellent disruption in the market. As part of Salalah Mills' rebrand with Skyne, a new brand emerged, which was to be the consumer-facing frozen-fresh bakery brand, Bake & Go.

The Shift

The Shift

The idea was simple. Salalah Mills wanted to deliver convenient, high-quality bakery solutions. Items which were fresh, frozen, scalable and efficient. Through workshops we uncovered three strategic pathways for design: frozen for B2B products for retailers, branded frozen retail, and fully baked ready to eat products.

The Breakthrough

The Breakthrough

Bake & Go transformed from a functional frozen bakery product into a brand people could immediately understand, trust, and buy into. By moving away from the language of frozen and towards a clearer promise of freshness, ease, and reliability, we helped Salalah Mills launch a consumer-facing brand that could connect with households, serve food service needs, and enter a crowded market with the clarity and momentum needed to grow.

Building foundation with insights

We saw Bake & Go as a solution-led bakery brand, one that would deliver operational simplicity, reduce waste, ensure consistent quality, feel modern and scalable, and in the end remain proudly Omani.

The art of convenience is simplicity.

Bringing freshness to life

The identity brings the core idea to life visually. The wordmark reflects dough in motion, gently stretched, formed, and shaped. While the typography feels soft yet controlled, mirroring the transformation of flour into a finished baked goods.

A BAKERY, NOT A BOOTH

A BAKERY, NOT A BOOTH

In a space designed for movement and noise, we chose to design for pause. For the Salalah Mills Gulfood stand, we created a bakery people could step into rather than pass by. Warm lighting, working ovens, fresh bread, and intimate seating brought the products back to their natural context: being shared and enjoyed. Instead of competing for attention, the stand offered relief, turning a busy exhibition into a place where people stayed, engaged, and experienced the brand.

Working on the Bake & Go project with Skyne was a genuinely inspiring experience. From the very beginning, the approach to naming, branding, and packaging felt thoughtful, strategic, and deeply aligned with the product’s identity. What stood out most to me was the attention to detail in the packaging, every element was designed to be both visually engaging and practical, making the product instantly recognizable and appealing on the shelf. The collaboration with Skyne was smooth, creative, and highly professional, resulting in an outcome that truly elevates the brand. Launching Bake & Go at Gulfood 2026 was a truly stunning experience. It was especially rewarding to introduce the brand directly to customers, engage with them firsthand, and see their reactions in real time. That moment brought the entire vision to life in the most impactful way.
