Sharjah Media City, known as Shams (meaning The Sun in Arabic), is one of the UAE’s most dynamic free zones. Designed to nurture and empower entrepreneurs and creative talent, Shams positions Sharjah as a vibrant, connected hub for the media and cultural industries across the wider Arab region.
Sharjah wanted to launch a media free zone that would stand apart from typical business parks by fostering a genuine creative ecosystem. The goal: craft a brand that addresses both the functional and emotional needs of entrepreneurs and becomes a cultural catalyst for the region.
Skyne shaped the full brand strategy, name, and identity for Shams.
