Hinu Bay is a luxury eco-destination located in Oman’s Dhofar region. Backed by the Oman Investment Authority, it is part of a strategic national mandate to attract tourism investment and increase visitors to the country by 2040, supported by a 20 billion OMR development plan.
While the region had seen luxury development, it lacked destinations rooted in the culture and nature of Salalah. Hinu Bay was envisioned as something different — understated, eco-friendly, and authentic to its environment. The challenge was to create a brand that reflected these values and connected with conscious travellers.
Skyne developed a completely new brand that captured the natural sophistication of Hinu. The result was a destination brand that resonates with eco-conscious visitors, rooted in local character and aligned with Oman’s tourism goals.
Through research, stakeholder input, and field insights, we defined the strategic DNA of Hinu Bay, a place where luxury and sustainability meet. The strategy focused on authenticity, environmental integration, and local storytelling, setting the foundation for all brand assets.
Imagery highlights the region’s biodiversity, heritage, and the people of Dhofar. The brand look and feel is grounded, sensory, and honest, giving travellers an immediate sense of what Hinu offers: connection, calm, and discovery.
